There aren’t too many handguns on the market that have had more test rounds through them than the Sig Sauer P226 series. Carried for years by demanding law enforcement and elite combat units, the P226 is literally a battle-proven gun. In fact, these same elite forces and sworn officers had a lot to do with the features that make up the Legion Series.

What sets the Legion Series pistols apart?

The P226 Legion includes a reduced and contoured Elite beavertail, which allows for a higher grip, but a reduced profile, thus eliminating printing. More aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard enhance the grip. An X-Five undercut has been applied to the trigger guard, allowing for a higher grip and greater control. Front cocking serrations provide greater purchase for cycling the action, clearing the firearm, or conducting press checks. An enhanced polished action is augmented with a SIG Master Shop Super Match Flat Trigger. In addition, a solid steel guide rod adds weight where it matters most.
